Émilie Karuna is a photographer and collagist residing in Montreal, Canada. She holds a BFA in Film Production from Concordia University.
Karuna’s work primarily addresses loss, grief, and notions of home. She uses analogue mediums such as the Polaroid and Holga cameras and hand-cut collage.
Karuna is a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology at Université du Québec à Montréal. As part of her doctoral research, she facilitates expressive art workshops with immigrant, asylum seeker, and refugee children.
